Jadavpur University , inviting application for 116 posts of Junior Assistant Cum-Typist, Assistant Librarian Gr.-II, Steno-Typist, Darwan, Technical Assistant Gr.-II, Helper, Peon, Laboratory Attendant and Driver. 8	Laboratory Attendant	11	Vlass VIII standard and working experience in the  respective field.
9	Driver	2	a.Class VIII standard. b. Valid driving license and 5 years  experience

Desirable Qualifications:

For Sl.No.1 : Basic knowledge in computer including the knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and or  Tally Software from a recognized institute.

For Sl.No.2 : i) Knowledge of Universal Decimal Classifications
                      ii) Knowledge of Computer Application preferably in Librarianship

For Sl.No.3 Experience in handling scientific laboratory equipments/machines/computer  /Electrical   equipment/ software or digital circuit/Electronic equipment/Structural or concrete or soil mechanic laboratory etc.

For Sl.No.4 Two years experience in the line.

For Sl.No.9 Motor vehicles knowledge

Scale of Pay:

For Sl.No.1           : Rs. 7200- 25400 with Grade Pay Rs.3300
For Sl.No.2 & 3.   : Rs. 9000- 28300 with Grade Pay Rs.4400
For Sl.No.4           : Rs. 7200- 25400 with Grade Pay Rs.3900
For Sl.No.5, 6 &7 : Rs. 5400- 18600 with Grade Pay Rs.1800
For Sl.No.8           : Rs. 5400- 18600 with Grade Pay Rs.2100
For Sl.No.9.          : Rs. 5400- 18600 with Grade Pay Rs.2900

18-40 years ( Age relaxation as per norms)
